Before diving in, familiarize yourself with these key concepts in SpAItial.
Worlds
A World is the primary unit in SpAItial - a 3D environment you can explore, edit, and share. Worlds are generated from text prompts or images using AI.
World States
- Processing: The AI is creating your world
- Completed: Your world is complete and viewable
- Cancelled: The generation process was cancelled by the user
- Failed: The generation process encountered an error
Workspaces
Workspaces help you organize your worlds into collections. You might have separate workspaces for different projects, clients, or themes.
Generation
Generation is the process of creating a world from your input. This involves:
- Processing your prompt or image
- AI model inference
- 3D reconstruction
- Final rendering
Edits
Edits allow you to modify specific regions of an existing world. Select an area, provide new instructions, and SpAItial will regenerate just that portion.
Privacy
Every world has a privacy setting:
- Private: Only you can view
- Public: Anyone with the link can view
- Listed: Appears in community galleries
Credits
SpAItial uses credits for world generation across the web app and Developer API. One credit equals $0.01.

Free users receive a one-time 800 credit starter balance, enough for 5 Echo 2 - Standard generations. Paid plans include monthly credits, and subscribers can purchase 1,600, 3,200, or 8,000-credit packs when they need more. Included subscription credits are used before purchased credits.
