SpAItial App Service Description

This page describes the customer-facing scope, principal features, and current limitations of the SpAItial App. It is intended to help customers understand what the service provides before and while using it.

Service scope​

The SpAItial App is a hosted web application available at app.spaitial.ai. It enables customers to create, view, edit, organize, share, and export AI-generated 3D worlds.

Customers provide text prompts, images, or equirectangular 360° panoramas. SpAItial processes those inputs asynchronously and produces navigable 3D Gaussian Splat worlds that can be viewed in a supported browser.

This description covers the interactive web application. Programmatic access is a separate service described in the SpAItial Developer API Service Description.

Access and service requirements​

Customers need:

  • A SpAItial account and a stable internet connection.
  • A supported modern browser with WebGL 2.0.
  • Hardware capable of rendering interactive 3D content.
  • Sufficient credits for credit-consuming generation operations.

Limitations and customer considerations​

  • Generated results vary. Worlds and edits are produced by generative AI. Results may not precisely reproduce an input or prompt and may contain visual, geometric, or semantic artifacts.
  • Generation is asynchronous. Published generation times are typical estimates, not guaranteed completion times. Queue position, system load, input complexity, and model selection can affect processing time. A job may also fail or be cancelled.
  • Input quality affects output quality. Clear, high-quality scene images generally produce better results. Blurry, heavily compressed, obstructed, or non-scene images may produce poor results.
  • Rendering depends on the customer's device. Older devices may have reduced performance. WebGL 2.0 is required, and VR headset browsing is not currently supported.
  • Exports require compatible software. The primary 3D outputs are Gaussian Splat formats. Format support and coordinate conventions vary among third-party tools, and an exported file may require orientation or viewer configuration outside SpAItial.
  • Public links are accessible to others. Anyone who receives an unlisted public link can view and forward it. Listed worlds are discoverable in public galleries. New worlds are private by default, and customers control when their visibility changes.
  • Entitlements vary. Available models, credits, usage capacity, and some export features depend on the customer's plan or separately agreed terms.

Customer responsibilities​

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing content they are authorized to use.
  • Reviewing generated results before relying on or distributing them.
  • Selecting appropriate world privacy settings before sharing content.
  • Confirming that exported formats are compatible with their downstream tools.
  • Protecting their account credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

Use of the service is also governed by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
